If laughs could kill.

If laughs could kill, I'm sure that Big Kid has the most annoying one down to perfection.  He thinks its really funny to make this LOUD, high pitched laugh when you are going in the car, the whole way.  Last night I told him I would make him walk home, if he didn't stop.  He stopped until we pulled in the driveway, so I put it in reverse and drove back out our cul-de-sac, where he promised he would not make that laugh again (because he knew we were going like a mile away from home).  And he didn't, that is until he got his whole body and backpack out of the car. ahahahahaha

So last night we went to eat supper at Culver's.  One of our favorite spots.  Little Bit goes to the bathroom to wash her hands and face from some chocolate she had eaten earlier and takes a longer time than usual.  She still missed a spot, so I went to help her wash it.  Well, while we were in there, she explained why it took her so long.  She said when she was leaving she saw the sign to use the foot handle to exit the room.  She thought she had to use it because that is what the sign posted, and so it took her forever to figure it out and to be strong enough to pull the door with her foot only.  Oh, I wonder how long the sweet innocence

will last.  I hope a long time.    

Cat Chases Dog and other exciting News

As I sit here, my cat is chasing my dog around the house.  Yes, it is normal, my kinda normal.

I'm about to go out for a long bike ride in the nice weather before it cranks up to the 90s.  Yesterday, I made the mistake to wait until 3:00 p.m. to jog/walk 3 miles in the 92 degree heat.  It was hot and I didn't have enough water in me.  Plus, the canned smoked oysters that I ate for lunch reminded me later it wasn't a good combination.  Heat and smoked oysters are a no.

Big Kid on his Last Soccer Game of the Season Day.

This morning, I made the kids take a picture on my picture wall.  

I know it's not the last day of school, but I just thought it was a good day to take a picture.

And they did, too.

You know, when I started taking pictures of them together on the picture wall, 

they didn't fill up the space and I'd never see the oven or the photos or dry erase board.

They have grown.

Ages 13 and 11 now.

School Field Trip

This past Wednesday, Little Bit had her school field trip. 

They went to the Ball Corporation to see how the soda cans are made.

This is one of my favorite field trips.  I think the kids enjoy it, too!

NASA we Have Lift Off for Fun

The Jr. Girl Scouts went and spent the night at NASA last Saturday and I went with them.  

We had a great time!!!
