An Open Letter to My Kid's Teacher.
Dear Teacher,
I know your days are long. I feel that you by no means get paid near enough to put up with 120 or more kids that are the exact same age as my child. I know that you are doing something that I cannot even imagine doing for my life. You give more in one day than I ever would want to in a lifetime.
Yet, I must say guessing my child's log in name is a hard task. I might be ready for the CIA. You gave my child the wrong User ID and the homework was to log in and send you an e-mail. I must say I am impressed with myself for cracking the code and guessing that you dropped a letter in the User ID when you wrote it down. Yes, I'm good, 30 minutes later after download who knows what programs and trying all sorts of combinations and following strange instructions for other downloads that wasn't related to this project, but still good.
And Other Teacher,
When you say that you will be at a place to unlock a door for all the kids in your class and there is like 40 or so moms standing out in the Texas heat, yes 99 degrees on a Sunday late afternoon in late September, then I suggest you show up close to time. Instead of us having to hunt down another teacher after waiting a good hour in the heat and ruining his Sunday afternoon. There were some crazed ladies there in the heat of that parking lot. You will be hearing about it from other parents I'm sure. But, it won't be from me, because my kids locker got decorated and I'm sure you will hear about it from a bunch of other people. So, you might want to just steal some chocolate off of my kids locker, because it might be a long day and you might need a pick me up.
In conclusion, I know you are human, and so am I. So, let's all joing together and have a break and take a nice glass of milk before a nights sleep, because...tomorrows Monday.
