busy

Haven't been writing much lately...been quite busy. Here's a list of all the fun? we've been having.

1. Celebrated Fat Tuesday on Sunday night. Had our friends & their kids over and had a big meal of oyster pie, crawfish stuffed chicken, baked bbq shrimp, red beans-n-rice, salad, & bread. Complete with king cake for dessert. Some zydeco music and beads and such to complete the night!
2. Been celebrating puke fest the last two days with Little Bit. She got the flu. But is fully recovered. However, she did try to pull the "My tummy hurts. I think I have fever. I need to stay home from school" today. It didn't work. They all went to school or work.
3. Last Friday, there was no school. So, we had a day of fun. The kids took and spent their Valentine money on webkinz. www.webkinz.com They love them. We also went to lunch. That evening they went to the movies and supper with their friends. So, M and I went out on a date and saw "Breach" about some true story Russian spy and then to Martini's & More. It was a fun night.
4. Last Thursday I got my hair done. I love the place I go, "Cut Style." I think my stylist does a great job with my hair. Plus, it's always good for fun tabloid gossip.
5. And lastly, (but never really the last, just all I'm talking about for now) was Valentine's Day on Wednesday. It was great. We all opened our presents. Lots of Godiva chocolates, some books and drawing tools and books for the kids. And everyone got scratch off tickets...some were winners! Plus, I got a great pair of sunglasses and some Godiva from M. I love them!!! That eve...I put the table in the living room in front of the fire with a table cloth, candles, china, and sterling silverware. We ate a delicious meal of frito chili pie and strawberry shortcake for dessert. The kids and M loved it and cleaned their plates!!!
