summers over

Summer's over...the kids are back in school...and i'm back to blogging.

Today is the kids first day back. No, I'm not a total wreck today. I was one yesterday. I asked both my kids to stay home and let me home school them. They both told me, "NO! I Want to go to school!" I guess they realized that if they even hinted at the possiblity that I would do it. But, then they wouldn't learn much would they? It would be like, "Let's watch these Gilligan's Island reruns. See, that's how you build a radio out of a coconut. Just like the professor showed us. Now you've had your science lesson. Time to watch The View and you can learn about the political climate of our world. Ha!"

Last night M took us all out to eat at Masa's Sushi Bar. I love that place. Little Bit and I call it "Our little restaurant." Little Bit calls the soy sauce, "soil sauce." I never correct her, because I think it's cute. That was the perfect place to go, before I let them go today.

Well, i think i'm going to ride my bike down to the church and back to pick up some papers that i need to type up. I think i might be crazy as i looked it up on mapquest and it shows the ride to be 3.2 miles there and then it will be another 3.2 miles back. I might have to stay a while and eat lunch there at their cafe and then maybe hitch a ride home. Wish me luck.

Dear Chris: Yep. It was a great summer. And yes, I'm always learning lots, probably more than most! And now summer is over. But, it's cool to be back to seeing all my friends again! I'll see ya around the schoolyard! later-cb

Dear lil Chris: I missed holding you, but I'll definately see you this Wednesday. You'll have to sit on my lap while your mommy has her lunch. I miss having little babies to hold. Especially this week! later-cb

Dear Aunt Chelle: The shopping was great. Although I now need you to come and match everything that I bought, because i feel like i have nothing to wear when in reality i have plenty to wear, just no sense of what goes with what. Also, they had a ball at space camp! You've seen the pictures and don't worry you'll get to see them again the next time we're all up and mom and dad's! I promise to break them out. I'm thinking of making some sort of slide show that everyone has to sit and watch this Christmas. ahahahahaahahahahaa love ya-cb
