If you have to make a career (aka what i wanna be when i grow up) costume and you're leaving the house in 2 minutes then the following costumes are fast and easy:

• soccer coach- just wear the sweats you have on and carry a soccer ball and a stop watch.
• kennel worker - just safety pin two stuffed animal dogs to your little girls blue jeans so the dogs can follow her around all day.

Also, said stop watch works great in the car.

Big Kid: "Little Bit, let's see how long you can sing. OK. Go."
Little Bit: "When the leaves are red and yellow in the fall. Crunch, crunch. When the leaves are red and yellow in the fall. Crunch, crunch. When the leaves..."
Big Kid: "Hey. I've got a new idea. How about we see how long you can be quiet...Go."
Big Kid: "OK. Quiet without moving your mouth. Go."
Big Kid: "Wow...one minute...one minute 10 seconds..."

Little Bit was quiet until we got to school and so was Big Kid. We're taking the stop watch more often.
