Wow. a Whole month has passed by. As the song goes..."time keeps on slippin', slippin' into the future..." I'd give the artist name, but i always get them wrong and would say something way off base like it's from the Doors, but i know it's not. So, it's been things like school, soccer, brownies, and a camping trip that has been occupying my time as of late. Nothing huge to note, just everyday happiness. And now I'm here at my computer sending y'all some love.

Well, yesterday my sister sent me a link to this contest http://www.5minutesformom.com/3328/photo-contest-1000-dollars/ So, the idea is to post a pic about Motherhood. I'm all for motherhood, if you're for it. And I'm for it. And let's face it...motherhood isn't about mom. It's about the cool things that you do for others as a mom. Because we just wouldn't be a mom without someone else. In that, I share with you that it's the fun stuff that I make up to do that makes being a mom the best.

Today's photo example is Fat Tuesday dinner that we have every year on Fat Tuesday (a.k.a. Mardi Gras). We eat lots of good cajun dishes, listen to zydeco music, wear beads and other accessories, dance, and of course eat king cake and try to be the winner and find the baby.

I support any reason to celebrate today!!! As some lady from the past said "Let them eat cake." And I'd name her, but again I'd be way off base and say something like LadyBird Johnson, and I know it wasn't LadyBird. I just like saying her name.
