wad up sunday!

It started off a mild manner day. 7 a.m.-ish  A nice cup of coffee.  I let out the dog. Fed the cat, making sure to give him his kitty treats. Fed the fish. Fed the fish again.  It's always a 2 step feeding, otherwise all the flakes end up on the bottom and they are hungry all day, nibbling on each other's fins.  Change the dishes in the dishwasher from clean to dirty and start it again.  Another cup of coffee.  Watching the CBS morning show, in between.  Today, i missed most of it.  I love that show. 

By then M had woke up. "Let's go to the early church this morning."  So, we roll out the troops and all shine ourselves up.  And out the door by 9 a.m.  We went to the chapel service.  I saw one of my bookstore friends.  The service had the intern pastor.  I thought he did good for his first sermon.  It was about hope and maybe some missions mixed in.  You know, some flow issues, but nice.  And we love the organ players.  And plus, it's just nice to go and worship.  I'm ready to go back to work there.

Anywho, afterwards we headed to Dosey Doe's for brunch.  Guitar playing, a great waitress, yummy hazelnut latte, great kids and hubby, and good food.  A++++++

We went off to a VBS meeting.  It turned out to be mainly just hanging around for a couple of hours for a 10 minute meeting, but really great to catch up with friends. 

And a trip to Lowe's for our paint brushes and other such supplies.  remember?  we're painting the kids rooms this week. wish us luck!

And Big Kid has a pool party with the church.  We're dropping and returning two of his friends for this wing ding.  Thankfully it's a pool party.  Way too hot for anything else outside today. 104+ on the car temp.
