Proverbs 1:8-9

Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction and do not forsake your mother’s teaching.  They are a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck.

Prayer

Dear God,

Thank you for the wise words of friends and family.  Thank you for providing someone to look to for wise words and council.  Please watch over them and guide them.  And in turn guide me to serve You better, Lord.  Thank you.
