a morning conversation

Little Bit: "Are we going to see Josh when we go to Washington, D.C.?"
Me: "No, he lives in Nashville, TN. But, who do you think lives in Washington, D. C.?"

I hum "Hear Comes the Cheif."

Little Bit: "The Razorbacks!"
Me: "No."
Little Bit: "Elvis!"
Me: "No."

Me: "You don't know him personally, but you see him on T.V."
Little Bit: "Grandma Gerry?"
Me: "Noooo. He's in charge of our country..."
Little Bit: "Oh. George Bush."
Me: "Yes and he's what?"
Little Bit: "President."

She didn't seem so excited with the answer, but she knew the president's name. That's good.
