A normal Sunday morning

Over breakfast, Big Kid and Little Bit argue over the last yogurt crush cup. Who are these children that argue over yogurt? They were satisfied when I divided the yogurt in two little bowls and promised them we would buy more today. Of course, then they got picky..."I want the Danimals drinkable yogurt." "I want more crush cup yogurts!" Picky about yogurt...not my children.

Another conversation at the breakfast table.

Little Bit: "Mom, what is sausage made of?"
Big Kid: "Pig Butts!"
Me: "Ahem! Well, sausage can made of many types of meat, but usually it is made from Pigs. Remember we've had deer sausage that your Daddy brought home before."
Little Bit: "Ok. I like sausage."
Big Kid: "Oh, I was right pig butts."

He looked so proud and mischievous.

Big Kid: "Or maybe these are pig wieners."
I gave him a mean mommy look, as we were eating link sausage and that was just too much of a mental picture for my breakfast.

Earlier this morning Little Bit was sitting in the dark with her sunglasses on just working away on a Sponge Bob drawing. She also drew a fantastic picture of LadyBug, my grandmother's old dog that I told her about. But, I think she imagined it differently, as the picture is of a dog with a ladybug body.
