things i learned today

1. Caulk has an expiration date. So, I had to go back to Lowe's AGAIN and buy new caulk. It doesn't look that great, but I had a LOT to cover up as my shower is peeling and I don't want to pay for a new shower. It's inside the stall, so only family will be seeing it. Whatever.
2. 3 inch thread is not made to hang light fixtures. It comes in 1 inch, 2 inch, 6 inch and 30 inch, but not 3 inch. It should be made in 3 inch to hang down the right amount under the medallion. But no, they include 2 1/2 inch with the medallion, just to make you crazy. Thankfully, I find a challenge exciting and no one has to see how I made it work underneath that medallion. Note: Be careful when changing the lights and NO hanging off the chandelier.
3. A trip to Lowe's makes me purchase another project. I hung more trim over the brass on the closet door. I do like it better now.
