ok. well, that didn't work. i thought sharing all my insights on the world of holly homemakering might push me into blogging on a regular basis. it got me through a week. ha.
let's go back to what works for me..Me...MEEEEEE. ah, yes my personal love of self.
so, let's recount last weeks highlights.
- Saw the International Space Station pass over head. Quite cool and fast moving and bright.
- Went to the symphony and sat in the lawn seats under the cool, cloudy night sky. Ate a hamburger that i didn't have to cook. remembered that i actually like the opera music from Carmen, not much other opera though.
- Saw 500 monarch butterflies released into the sky at a statue dedication. it was quite impressive, all these butterflies.
- Spent Saturday on the couch sleeping and watching the Kentucky Derby. My horse lost. But, my husband won big! So, we ate out at Taco Bell. Ole for taco day!
- went to a kick boxing class for the first time ever. everything felt fine afterwards except my knees. may be the last kick boxing class ever.
sign holding for the local political candidate of my choice for a couple days - Enjoyed Central Grocery Co. Muffalta Sandwiches straight from New Orleans via my main man! thank ya! thank ya very much! they were mmmm good.
- Went to a Mary Kay luncheon party at a friends and had a great time.
- Enjoyed my Starbucks day of coffee with friends
- Celebrated the End of TAKS testing with the kids and our friends at Frost, the new cupcake bakery. Might i say they were incredibly rich and yummy!!!
- Worked on a Mural Painting at the church. this this is big and paint by numbers, perfect!
I know there was more, but my time is up. this will be another full week, with Big Kid & Little Bit's field trips and M's trade show and i'm sure some stuff for me.
Happy Monday!

Glad you posted about the space station. I looked it up and this coming week it should be visible here for a couple nights. Cool! THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THE CHOCOLATES. Some of my friends asked if I would share my sisters with them and I greedily said no! LOL Thank you so much!
