- Big Kid has had Planet 56 day camp, aka vacation bible school for 5th and 6th graders. So, its go to camp at a different time each day either 9 a.m. or 1 p.m. and different items required each day. Even though it's a lot to keep up with, I have to say it was last year his favorite camp and will probably be this year again. Of course paint ball & going to a big water park probably helps.
- Little Bit had the first of the week off, then she started her TAKS camp on Wednesday. It's a test taking help camp. But, she's had lots of fun with it already. One of her friends goes to the camp as well, so they've enjoyed riding together to and from camp and having play dates this week.
- Other Misc. items for Big Kid: sleep over at friends & playing with friends in cul-de-sac. He's been gone most of the week with camp and such.
- Other Misc. items for Little Bit: playing with friends at our house & in cul-de-sac, going to pool with me; going to see Shrek the Final time we have to go see this Franchise movie with me; and getting her hair cut in one hour from this post.
- M has been traveling this week. This week he is in Singapore. He sounds like he's having a great time. Of course anytime he travels, he always sounds happier. So, I'm happy for him.
- This week I've been recovering from my cold. I'm on week 5. I decided i was sick of being sick, so I've taken cold medicine even though I'm allergic and actually taken a nap once this week. I'm feeling much better, but that might just be the cold medication talking ;) Also, since i'm finally recovering, I cleaned house a little, laundry, moved my bed and clean all the dust bunnies [yes they mutiplied and also produced a sock, washrag, big dead bug, a light up ball, some dryer sheets, and a coupon], and trimmed the bushes out front [i can see my house now], and washed out the stinky/buggy trash can [yikes, thankfully i'm past the nausia].
- Let's see...what else. Oh yes, Big Kid tried out for the competitive soccer team. He made the team, but he decided that he just wanted to take a break from soccer. So, i guess no soccer this Fall. It will be different. But, I'm sure he will find something else to fill that time. And really i just want him to be happy.
- And my grandmother had a big heart attack. So, when i was worried about my 90 year old grandpa and his pneumonia, I guess i should have worried about my grandma. But, really i think a lot of this is just a lesson, that there is no sense in worrying about things. You just never know how it's all going to work out, only God does. Grandma is not great, but ok and i think they are sending her home today. I would worry, but i think it wouldn't help any.
- hmmm...i'm looking forward to hanging out with my sister this weekend. we're going to see a hot air balloon launch & air show. I'm quite excited. i am looking forward to something exciting! Airplanes & sisters make everything good.
So, basically, it's all going really well. I was on the down slope of the roller coaster, but back up we go!!! Wwwwweeeeeee!!!!
