Coffee Friday

Well, it's Coffee Friday. My favorite day of the week. Today I head out and have coffee with my friends and relax and as my dad would say, "Chew the Fat."

It's really a good start off on my day. I slept well last night and feel rested. My leg doesn't hurt. My husband is off to work. He's been home off and on because his wisdom teeth need pulling and one has a cavity and is giving him fits. So, he seems to be feeling better. My children both went to school happy and willing this morning. No morning whining. That was fantastic. AND the weather has turned nice and cool out. Almost chilly. A cool 48 degrees when I drove Little Bit to school. I am so happy that we might have cold weather for Hallowing. I'd hate for my little darlings to have to be naked under their costumes because of a heat wave. 3 nights ago it was 91 degrees out at 8:00 p.m. I am seriously thankful for the cooler temps.
Speaking of Hallowing... Tonight we will go to the pumpkin patch (aka Kroger) and hunt us up some pumpkins. Then we will come home and carve and light said pumpkins. I will toast the pumpkin seeds for a snack. We're thinking about checking out the local Hallowing Scary Trail. Something about the circus clown gone crazy for ages 9-14. Sounds perfect. Oh, and somewhere in there we will watch the tv show The Big Bang Theory, because we didn't have time to watch it last night.

Speaking of the Big Bang Theory... Last night Big Kid and I went shopping for pants. Or at least that was our rouse. M's birthday is tomorrow and I wanted to take Big Kid out to buy something for his dad. While at Kohl's Big Kid had a great time trying on different shoes and running around the store to see if they "felt good." Then over in his clothing section, they had the "Wolowitz" pants. If you watch The Big Bang Theory, then you know what I'm talking about. Big Kid had to try them on twice and we took pictures. It was too funny. He just needed a pacman beltbuckle. Here's the comparision photos...

Anyway, it was fun. And this weekend is packed full of fun as well. Little Bit is going to be a Midnight Princess and Big Kid is going to be a Rabid Bat. Thanks goes out to WalMart for the costuming of my children. Pictures of the weekend to be posted next week....

Happy Hallowing!!!
