The Learning Curve

Well, Sports Fans, so far in the last 24 hours we have learned lots in our house.

• Big Kid learned all about what the terms for Freshman, Sophmore, Junior, & Senior mean (aka 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th). We also discussed last night about homecoming, the homecoming dance, mums, prom, dinner before prom, breakfast parties after prom, the 4 proms I attended, why the homecoming dance is not as big a deal as prom, the homecoming football game, and how the homecoming football team usually plays a team they can beat. Quite the conversation.
• This morning in the car on the way to school, Little Bit asked how some kids can have different names as their siblings. So our entire ride consisted of how some people have half-brothers or half-sisters, some have step-brothers or step-sisters, what the difference between half and step is, and how it all doesn't really matter because family is family.
