Well, Sports Fans, the weekend has been full and busy.  And Football has started on the radio, so I know it's soon to start on the tv. Yea!

Friday night, I drove up to South Arkansas and went to the engagement party of the girl who was the flowergirl in my wedding.  My how time flies!  It was a lovey time.  I got to see a bunch of my friends.   I had a great time and left the area feeling great!  I am so happy to see Clair happy and grown. 

I made it home on Saturday night in time for M & I to head out and celebrate the birthday couple, Abs & L.  This couple's birthdays are exactly a week apart.  So, last night we went out to Los Cuco's for supper.  Then we went to Jack's Place to play some pool, but they had a party going on so we just hung out there and visited for a bit.  That was a great place and I'm sure we will venture in again.  Afterwards, Abs & L wanted to go country dancing for their birthdays.  So, we went to the Big Texan.  It was just like the movies, a circle dance floor everyone scooting around.  M & I danced a couple of times.  I'm not so good to follow any lead, but thankfully M doesn't mind.  Abs and I sang some kareoke.  I made everyone look really good.  So, happy to help out this crowd.  Then we played a little pool.  I had forgotten how much I like playing pool.  Especially, when I can put a ball in a pocket.  So, it was a fun night. 

The kids both had sleep overs.  I just picked up Little Bit.  Big Kid is still at his sleepover.  It's been a busy weekend, and we're still cramming stuff into it.  It must be the end of summer.
