BACK ON
The electricity just came back on!!!! YIPIEEE!!! Everything is fine here in our household, following Hurricane Ike. We've lost a few trees in the yard and one on the house. But, nothing that cannot be fixed. I'll post some pics later. The kids are out of school for the whole week, so they are excited. And we've been enjoying hanging with friends and neighbors. And thankfully, there is a cold snap, so we've been in the 70's with clear skies in the morning time while we do the yard work. And haven't had much rain since the hurricane, so the buckets require less empting. YEA!!! Thank God for electricity!!!

glad to hear you are all safe! The power came on at our house this morning, so we will be heading back today.
Glad to hear you got power back! Not glad about the tree but whew thank goodness for insurance. :) Oh and thanks for the info about the spoiled food and insurance. I might call tomorrow b/c our fence got messed up with a tree falling on it. No problem though daddy magee rednecked it back into place using some limbs he cut off the tree. lol
